Ukrainian Chornobaivka, which is in the Kherson region, is considered by the Russian occupiers to be a "purgatory" for manpower and a cemetery for military equipment.

Quote: "Our support here, on the base, is called ‘purgatory.’ It is under constant shelling. People are afraid to come to us."

Details: This was reported by a contract servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces based in Chornobaivka. The occupier insists on calling the war in Ukraine a "special operation" and is trying to convince his mother of this.

But the woman does not agree, she calls the war a "war" and says that she knows about the destruction, the killing of children and civilians: "Yeah, you have a special operation, and how many children and adults died! How many people died, how many soldiers died ... and now it is a special operation. Gosh! You bombed everything there."

In another conversation with the father, the occupier said that due to the resistance of Ukrainian defenders, the Russians lost most of their military equipment: "We simply have nothing to fight with… We have nothing, no equipment, no heavy weaponry at all. Everyone was bombed."

The occupier also openly hints at the stupidity of his commanders: "We came to Kherson, to the base, it everything is totally f**ked up here: a cemetery for helicopters. How it looks in the army: everything is in line, everything is smooth, the helicopters are lined up in a row and everything was shelled with ‘Grad’ multiple rocket launchers."
