According to Syniehubov: "The occupiers have carried out 5 artillery bombardments on Kharkiv over the course of today [Monday, 2 May]. Saltivka and Kharkiv Tractor Plant neighbourhoods are affected. In Kharkiv Region, Bohoduhiv, Zolochiv, Male Danylivka, and Chuhuiv were also shelled.

Unfortunately, 3 people were killed and 8 civilians received injuries."

Details: Syniehubov also reported on the ongoing fighting near Izium. Russian troops are trying to carry out an offensive on Barvinkove, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding their positions and the Russian troops’ attempts to advance are unsuccessful.

"Our fighters have conducted several successful combat operations today. But we can’t talk about the details yet. The Russian occupiers are demoralised and refuse to go into battle," the Head of the Military Administration said.

He added that from 2 May the Region’s curfew is going to change, lasting from 21:00 to 06:00. Between these times, it is forbidden to move around the city on foot and by transport.
