Russia swears it will not use nuclear weapons against Ukraine

Aleksey Zaitsev, the Deputy Director of the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, insists that it is impossible for Russia to use nuclear weapons in the war against Ukraine.

Details: According to Zaitsev, Russia allegedly adheres to the principle according to which "there can be no winners in a nuclear war and it must not be unleashed."

Quote from Zaitsev: "Scenarios for the possible use of nuclear weapons are clearly spelled out in Russian doctrinal documents.

They are not applicable to the tasks set during the special military operation in Ukraine."
