Ukrainian military destroys Russian howitzers and Grad MLRS - Pivden (South) Operational Command

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have killed 41 Russian troops and destroyed a Grad MLRS, three Msta-Bs and one Gvozdika howitzer in southern Ukraine.

Details: It has been reported that a pair of Ukrainian attack aircraft and a bomber pounded a concentration of Russian troops, their equipment, an ammunition depot and a battery of Grad multiple-launch rocket systems near Davydov Brod and Ternovi Pody. Our [Ukrainian - ed.] attack aircraft worked in pairs against a Russian tank platoon near Lozove, and a bomber destroyed a Russian stronghold not far from it. The results of the strikes are being further established.

An unmanned reconnaissance vehicle, a communications vehicle, two conventional vehicles and a field artillery depot near Bruskynske were also destroyed.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces hit several Russian military command posts, control stations and logistic support bases.

A pair of Russian Ka-52 attack helicopters attempted a strike near Novohryhorivka. There were no casualties. In response, our [Ukrainian - ed.] helicopters paired up to attack a concentration of weapons and equipment near Khreshchenivka and Olhyne. A mortar battery was partially destroyed.

Background: As previously reported, on 19 July, the Ukrainian Air Force's anti-aircraft missile troops shot down a Russian Su-35 fighter jet near Nova Kakhovka.
