Russians have killed 100 Ukrainian athletes and coaches

Ukrainian Minister of Youth and Sports Vadym Huttsait said that Russian troops have killed 100 Ukrainian athletes and coaches, and taken 22 more as prisoners.

Quote from Huttsait: "Russians have killed 100 Ukrainian athletes and coaches. They died on the battlefield and from enemy shelling. Men and women. Adults and children. Four wounded. Another 22 are being held captive."

Details: The minister added that the authorities are making every effort to bring them home alive.

Huttsait also said that currently more than 3,000 armed athletes are defending Ukraine and all of Europe.

More than 1,100 athletes and coaches work on the volunteer front.
