Quote: "Missile units and artillery of the Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to engage in counterbattery combat and disrupt the occupiers’ control system and logistical support.

Damage was inflicted on three Russian control centres. A facility for Russian military personnel was destroyed and a unit of the Russian special forces came under Ukrainian fire. Details about the losses sustained by the aggressor are being confirmed.

Electronic warfare equipment and an ammunition storage site were also destroyed; as a result, the Russian ability to conduct offensive actions was significantly reduced."

Details: It should be noted that units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces are holding their positions and preventing the Russian forces from advancing deeper into the territory of Ukraine. The Defence Forces managed to successfully repel enemy attacks near the settlements of Dolyna, Soledar, Novobakhmutivka, Kodema, Zaitseve, Avdiivka and Marinka.

During the day (of 3 September], in order to support the actions of ground groups, the Ukrainian Air Force carried out over 5 strikes, during which combat equipment, electronic warfare equipment, anti-aircraft defence systems were destroyed and a significant number of personnel were killed in the Donetsk and Pivdennobuzkyy areas.

A helicopter, three UAVs and five Kalibr high-precision missiles were destroyed by Ukrainian air defence units several different places.

In general, the aggressors continue to focus their efforts on establishing full control over Donetsk Oblast, and holding the occupied districts of Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv oblasts.

Offensive and assault operations continue in the vicinity of Bakhmut and Avdiivka. The Russian forces are actively using anti-aircraft defence systems to cover their troops. There were no active combat operations around Kramatorsk and Novopavlivsk.

In particular, infrastructure was damaged in the settlements of Peremoha, Husarivka, Bilohiria, Pryshyb, Vremivka, Poltavka, Zaitseve, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Vodiane and Vodyane. Sensing danger, the Russian occupiers strengthened the administrative oversight and police forces in the settlements along the banks of the Dnipro River and the protection of the coastline in the temporarily occupied areas of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts.

In addition, state-owned companies of the Russian Federation have been provided with new norms for the selection of military "volunteers" for the war. Thus, the "Rossiyskie zheleznye dorogi" (Russian Railways) received an order to recruit up to 10,000 new candidates for short-term military contracts among civilian employees.

There is also a further threat of systematic, massive air and missile strikes on military and critical infrastructure facilities throughout Ukraine.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there was no significant change. The Belarusian Armed Forces are checking the readiness of field communication systems as part of preparations for command and staff exercises.
