Up to 40% of staff of some of their units have been killed or severely injured. The bodies of many of the soldiers who had been killed have not been identified; they are considered missing."

Details: Over the course of the past 24 hours, Russian forces conducted more than 20 aircraft missions, in the course of which they carried out seven missile strikes and 25 airstrikes on military and civilian targets across the territory of Ukraine. These attacks damaged infrastructure in areas in and around Kharkiv, Velyki Prokhody, Bilohirka, Kostromka, Sukhyi Stavok and Bezimenne.

There were no significant changes on the Volyn and Polissia fronts

The situation on other fronts was as follows:

  • On the Pivdennyi Buh front, the Russians used tubed and rocket artillery to fire on the positions of Ukrainian forces along the entire line of contact and used UAVs to conduct 34 reconnaissance missions.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are continuing to prevent Russian forces from advancing further into the territory of Ukraine. They have successfully repelled Russian attacks in the vicinity of Hryhorivka, Zaitseve, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna and Opytne.

Ukrainian aircraft carried out 27 airstrikes on Russian forces, destroying an ammunition storage point and striking up to 40 strong points and areas where Russian military personnel and equipment were concentrated. Ukrainian air defence units destroyed a Russian Su-25 aircraft, a Ka-52 helicopter, a UAV and five Kh-101 cruise missiles.

The General Staff notes that "seven command and control posts and 13 areas where enemy military personnel and equipment had been concentrated were struck. Several radar and mobile communications stations, bridges and pontoon crossings, and three ammunition and oil and lubricants storage points were also struck, significantly undermining the occupiers’ logistical and combat capabilities."
