Attacks on energy infrastructure: National energy company considers emergency shutdowns

Energy infrastructure facilities in central and northern oblasts of Ukraine have been damaged because of the morning attacks by the Russian Federation. Ukrenergo, the national energy company, does not rule out the possibility of introducing rolling emergency shutdowns.

They have emphasised that the dispatch centre of Ukrenergo does not rule out the possibility of introducing rolling emergency shutdowns.

Ukrenergo urged citizens to consume power wisely: "That's why it is important to observe the regime of frugal electricity consumption throughout the country, especially in the evening hours."
