"The Kremlin regime launched the record-breaking 100 missiles on Ukraine today. They have hit civilian and energy infrastructure of a neighbouring country, threatening lives and safety of dozens of thousands of people. We strongly condemn this new attack, the largest one since the beginning of Russia’s war against Ukraine," Sandu’s statement reads.

She added that Russian attacks on Ukraine also caused automatic disconnection of a power line that supplies electricity to Moldova; due to this, dozens of settlements are off the grid now.

"Thank you to all residents of affected regions for your serenity and understanding. Appropriate services are already working at the scene in order to fix everything. The war must be stopped!", Sandu summed up.

Earlier, the media reported that Moldova stopped receiving electricity from Romania on Tuesday afternoon, 15 November; after that, electricity disappeared in some regions of the country. Vice Prime Minister of Moldova Andrei Spînu has stated that the reason for it was Russia’s missile strikes on Ukrainian critical infrastructure, which caused the line to automatically disconnect.

On Tuesday, Russian forces launched the largest missile attack on Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The Air Force stated that the occupiers launched 100 missiles on Ukraine on 15 November.

Recent reports say that at least one person was killed in a strike on a residential building in Kyiv.
