Open source intelligence confirms that over 1,400 Russian officers died in Ukraine

Losses of high-ranking Russian Army officers in Ukraine stand at 1,402 servicemen as of 1 November 2022.

Details:The following losses of high-ranking Russian Army officers have been ascertained:

  • 2 lieutenant generals;
  • 8 major generals;
  • 44 colonels;
  • 98 lieutenant colonels;
  • 193 majors;
  • 279 captains;
  • 471 senior lieutenants;
  • 235 lieutenants;
  • 72 soldiers of other ranks.
