Russian forces regroup in Kherson Oblast, defend themselves on two fronts – General Staff report

Russians regroup forces on the Kherson front, defend themselves on the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts and continue the offensive on the Bakhmut front. Meanwhile, occupiers try to improve their tactical position on Kupiansk, Lyman and Avdiivka fronts.

Details: Over the course of the past 24 hours, Russian troops launched 35 airstrikes, in particular using Shahed-136 UAVs, all of which have been downed by the units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine. Occupiers also used multiple launcher rocket systems to attack Kherson city children’s hospital 16 times. 

On the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the situation is stable, there are no signs of formation of Russian offensive groups.

On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the Russian army used artillery to attack areas of the settlements of Buchky and Yasna Poliana in Chernihiv Oblast; Novovasylivka, Vyntorivka, Chernatske, Ulanove, Studenok, Khodyne, Iskryskivshchyna, Krasnopillia and Uhroidy in Sumy Oblast and Morokhovets, Zelene, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Mala Vovcha, Milove, Vovchansk, Dvorichna, Moskovka and Kamianka in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupiansk front, occupiers attacked the areas of the settlements of Masiutivka, Orlianske, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka and Krokhmalne in Kharkiv Oblast and Vilshany and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Lyman front, Ploshchanka, Nevske, Yampolivka, Torske and Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast came under fire.

On the Bakhmut front, the areas of over 15 settlements came under the fire of various calibre artillery, including Spirne, Bilohorivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, Druzhba, Maiorsk and Ozerianivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiivka front, Vodiane, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast have been attacked again.

On the Novopavlivka front, the invaders fired on Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka, Prechystivka, Vuhledar and Mykilske in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, Russians attacked the areas of 15 settlements, including Vremivka, Zelene Pole and Novopil in Donetsk Oblast; Olhivske, Poltavka, Dorozhnianka, Zaliznychne, Charivne and Novodanylivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Novosilka in Kherson Oblast.

On the Kherson front, civilian infrastructure facilities in the settlement of Havrylivka, Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Respublikanets, Beryslav, Lvove, Ivanivka, Inhulets, Inzhenerne, Antonivka and the city of Kherson were damaged in attacks.

The Ukrainian Air Force struck 13 clusters of Russian manpower, and Ukrainian Rocket Forces and Artillery units struck 2 clusters of manpower and military equipment.
