Russia loses about 720 soldiers over first day of the year – General Staff

Ukrainian defenders have killed approximately 720 Russian invaders and destroyed 44 UAVs over the past 24 hours. The Russian Federation has also lost another six artillery systems and nine armoured combat vehicles.
