Ukraine’s Energy Minister: Worst situation with electricity supply in Kyiv, Odesa, and Vinnytsia Oblasts

Energy infrastructure targets were hit in several oblasts of Ukraine as a result of the recent missile attack by the Russian Federation. Emergency power outages have been introduced. The worst situation is currently observed in Kyiv, Odesa and Vinnytsia Oblasts.

"Today, the enemy attacked energy facilities again, trying to cause a system failure in Ukraine's energy system.

Thanks to the excellent work of air defence, many missiles were shot down. Unfortunately, there are hits to energy infrastructure targets. Emergency power outages have been introduced. The most difficult situation is currently in Kyiv, Odesa and Vinnytsia oblasts," the minister wrote.

According to Halushchenko, power engineers are working to restore the electricity supply as soon as possible.
