Two civilian women killed in Russian attack on Bakhmut

Russia attacked Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast at 12:00 on 4 January. Two elderly women suffered fatal shrapnel wounds as a result of the attack.

Quote: "Today, at around 12:00, Russian troops struck the city with artillery. One of the shells hit the road. Shrapnel fatally injured two elderly women.

Currently, the evacuation team of the White Angel police is taking the bodies to the morgue. The identities of those killed will be established later."

Details: The police said that the women were in an extremely dangerous area and did not have the strength to quickly hide from the shelling.
