Fighting escalates on two contact line areas – UK Intelligence
The UK Defence Intelligence has reported that fighting has been stepped up in two areas of the contact line in Ukraine's south over the past 48 hours.

Details: The combat actions south of the city of Orikhiv are reportedly clustered near the village of Robotyne, within the area of responsibility of the Russian 58th Combined Arms Army.
Quote: "Eighty kilometres to the east, Ukrainian forces defeated elements of Russian airborne forces’ (VDV) 247th Guards Air Assault Regiment to capture the village of Staromaiorske," the UK MoD stated.
Details: Meanwhile, as noted, other Russian air assault forces in the north maintain offensive operations in the Serebrianka Forest west of the city of Kreminna, having made no significant progress.
Background: Earlier, the UK Defence Intelligence pointed out that Russia has recently reinforced its troops in Ukraine's south with upgraded Ka-52 helicopters, vehicles that have previously caused significant losses for Ukraine.
