Details: Yusov noted that Ukrainian intelligence can now confirm the deaths of Prigozhin's deputy, Dmitry Utkin, and some other passengers. However, in regards to Prigozhin, it is worth waiting for some more time to operate with confirmed facts.

Quote: "Now we can talk with 100% certainty about the confirmed deaths of Utkin and some other passengers. As for Prigozhin, let's say not all issues are closed yet. As for the organisers, let's think about who else can benefit from this? I think that here, in principle, everything is quite obvious."

Background:

  • On 23 August, Russian media and the Federal Air Transport Agency reported that a plane crashed in the Russian Federation, among the passengers of which was Prigozhin. All 10 people on board were killed, including Prigozhin's deputy, Dmitry Utkin, who went under the alias Wagner.
  • The administration of US President Joe Biden hinted that the Kremlin may be responsible for the death of Wagner group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin.
