At least 508 Ukrainian children killed by Russia

1,646 children were either killed or injured in Ukraine as a result of Russia's full-scale war. 

As of the morning of 23 October 2023, the official information from juvenile prosecutors said that 508 children were killed. Additionally, more than 1,138 children received injuries of varying severity.

Details: The largest number of children were affected in Donetsk Oblast – 492, Kharkiv Oblast – 304, Kherson Oblast – 130, Kyiv Oblast – 129, Zaporizhzhia Oblast – 99, Mykolaiv Oblast – 97, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast – 96, Chernihiv Oblast – 72, Luhansk Oblast – 67.

In particular, on 22 October, a 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy were injured in a Russian attack on Kupiansk in Kharkiv Oblast.

In addition, according to the Children of War portal, at least 13 children were sexually abused by the Russians.

1,779 children disappeared, and 19,546 were deported or forcibly displaced by the occupiers.
