Quote from Klitschko: "International support is vital to rebuild and develop the Ukrainian capital. The Brussels platform, which was created last year by European cities to help Kyiv, has already launched active processes in important projects for Kyiv."

Klitschko listed, among other things, the creation of a rehabilitation centre for Ukrainian servicemen and the equipping of hospital departments and a laboratory for the production of innovative biomedical products.

According to official data from Kyiv City Council, Ukraine’s capital has already concluded sister city agreements with over 70 cities, twelve of which were established after the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion on 24 February 2022.
