Russian forces attack Krasnohorivka, injuring woman who was trying to catch mobile phone signal

Russian forces deployed tanks and artillery to attack the city of Krasnohorivka (Donetsk Oblast) on 12 December. A woman who was trying to catch a mobile phone signal in order to call her family was injured in the attack.

Quote: "On the morning of 12 December 2023, Russian occupation forces carried out strikes on a private residential neighbourhood in the city of Krasnohorivka. Early reports indicate  that Russian forces deployed artillery and tanks to attack the city. A 58-year-old resident of Krasnohorivka sustained shrapnel wounds after [Russian] munitions hit her house."

Details: Miedviedieva also said that the prosecutor’s office had launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Art. 438.1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
