In total, seven enemy attempts to enter the territory of Ukraine were recorded in two weeks. In five cases, our defenders managed to detect these Russian intentions and inflict fire damage on the enemy, who retreated after suffering losses."

Details: In particular, Naiev spoke about the Russians' attempt to infiltrate Ukraine in the vicinity of Myropillia in Sumy Oblast.

"Using special technical equipment, [Ukrainian soldiers] detected [the Russians] in a timely manner, and they fired using mortars, artillery and small arms. Soldiers from the State Border Guard Service and Territorial Defence Forces, who were at an observation post and an outpost held by a platoon, took part in this battle. The fire damage was inflicted by gunners from the unit which operates on this front," Naiev noted.

Earlier, Naiev reported that Ukrainian defenders were equipping the frontiers and positions of the first and second defence lines in the most exposed areas of Chernihiv Oblast.
