Air defence responds to Russian attack in Kyiv

Explosions rang out in the city of Kyiv during an air raid, and the authorities have reported that air defence systems have been responding.

Quote from KCMA’s Head Serhii Popko: "Air defence systems were responding in Kyiv. Stay in shelters until the all-clear is given!"

Background: Ukraine’s Air Force reported the launch of cruise missiles from Russian bombers on the morning of 23 January.
