Russians attack 11 areas in Sumy Oblast, causing over 250 explosions in one day

The Russians conducted 41 attacks on the settlements of Sumy Oblast on 8 February, with 251 explosions recorded.

Details: Khotin, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Bilopillia, Vorozhba, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Krolevets, Esman, Shalyhyne and Seredyna-Buda hromadas were attacked. (A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.)

An UAV dropped a VOG rocket-propelled grenade (2 explosions) on Velyka Pysarivka hromada, and mortar attacks (21 explosions) were recorded there, too.

In Bilopillia hromada, the Russians deployed mortars (39 explosions), artillery (50 explosions), and grenade launchers (64 explosions). They conducted an airstrike (2 explosions) and fired from a tank (8 explosions).

An FPV drone attack (4 explosions) and a UAV attack with a VOG being dropped (2 explosions) were recorded in Krasnopillia hromada.

The Russians deployed artillery (14 explosions) and mortars (5 explosions) to attack Khotin hromada.

The Russians released four air-dropped mines on the territory of Esman hromada. FPV drone attacks (3 explosions) were recorded there, too.

Seredyna-Buda hromada was attacked by an FPV drone (1 explosion) and mortar fire (3 explosions).

Artillery shelling (3 explosions) were recorded in Shalyhyne hromada.

Fire from mortars (4 explosions) and artillery (2 explosions) was conducted in Myropillia hromada.

In Krolevets hromada, an attack was conducted by an FPV drone (1 explosion).

The Russians fired artillery (20 explosions) in Yunakivka hromada.

Artillery shelling (1 explosion) was conducted in Vorozhba hromada.
