Ukraine's air defence downs 12 out of 15 Russian attack drones

The Russians attacked Ukraine with 15 Shahed attack drones on the night of 8-9 March, 12 of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defence.

Details: The Russians launched the drones from Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia.

Russian Shahed drones were destroyed over Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Poltava oblasts.

Anti-aircraft missile units from the Air Force and mobile fire groups from the Defence Forces were involved in repelling the air attack.
