Oleksii Reznikov, the former minister of defence of Ukraine, has become the new director of the Security and Defence Programmes in the Institute of the Future.

Details: Liski published a group photo of himself with Reznikov and Anatolii Amelin, another co-founder of the Security and Defence Programmes.

Background: On 5 September 2023 the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament) dismissed Oleksii Reznikov from the position of minister of defence and replaced him with Rustem Umierov, the former head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, on 6 September.

In January it was revealed that Reznikov had renewed his right to practise law.
