Putin says once again that there will be no mobilisation in Russia, but there are hundreds of "volunteers"

Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared that there are no plans to carry out a mobilisation in the Russian Federation because they allegedly signed a contract with over 300,000 volunteers last year, and 160,000 more in 2024.

Quote: "We are forcing the enemy [Ukrainian forces] out of the territories that should be under our control. There's no reason for mobilisation. That is not in our plans.

Last year, without being mobilised, our men freely went to military enrollment offices and signed contracts. There were almost 300,000. This year has already seen almost 160,000 [volunteers]."
