Source: Interfax-Ukraine, citing a statement by Davyd Arakhamiia, leader of the Servant of the People party faction in the parliament, during the national joint 24/7 newscast
Quote: "Ukrainian Week will take place in Washington at the beginning of February. I believe that the key processes and negotiations with Trump's new team will actually take place there, so we are waiting."
Updated: After the news was published, the press service of the Servant of the People party faction contacted Ukrainska Pravda and asked to clarify that Arakhamiia's statement was not about "talks" but about "contacts".
Quote: "Active contacts between the delegation from the Ukrainian parliament and the new Trump team may begin in early February as part of the Ukrainian Week to be held in Washington.
Some officials within Trump’s team have already been appointed, some are still waiting. We are now working to ensure that the relevant meetings take place at the inter-parliamentary level and at other levels."
