Trump and Starmer discuss Ukraine: Agreed to keep up collective pressure on Putin

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has held a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump. They have discussed economic cooperation and the situation in Ukraine, agreeing to continue pressure on Putin.

Details: During the discussion on the war in Ukraine, Starmer informed Trump about the outcomes of the coalition of the willing meeting, which took place in Paris on 27 March.

"The leaders agreed on the need to keep up the collective pressure on Putin," the statement said.

Starmer and Trump also agreed to stay in contact in the coming days.
