Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that the Kremlin is "blatantly making a mockery" of Western efforts to stop the war that Russian leader Vladimir Putin has unleashed against Ukraine.

Quote: "All the more so now, as Moscow is blatantly making a mockery of our partners' efforts to advance a peace agenda – with constant new drone attacks and relentless, brutal shelling. Only through pressure can this be ended and Russia forced into peace."
Details: Zelenskyy stressed that Russians must be held accountable for their crimes.
"Europe will not forget the moral conclusions drawn from this war. It cannot be allowed for Putin, other Russian criminals, and the Russian state itself to be absolved of responsibility. It is impossible to normalise what they did in Bucha, Mariupol and so many other cities and villages. We will continue working to ensure that Russia is held accountable for this war – and that this accountability is tangible," Zelenskyy emphasised.
Background: On the third anniversary of Bucha's liberation from Russian forces, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, First Lady Olena Zelenska and a foreign delegation from nearly 20 countries honoured the memory of the murdered Ukrainians.
