Russian rocket artillery attacks Ivanopillia and Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast: two killed

Russian forces attacked the settlements of Ivanopillia and Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast with multiple-launch rocket systems on Friday 27 June, killing two civilians and injuring one woman.

Quote: "Russian forces attacked the village of Ivanopillia in the Kostiantynivka hromada at 10:55 on Friday. A residential area was targeted. A 66-year-old man sustained fatal injuries as a result of the attack. In addition, his 64-year-old wife sustained a blast injury, multiple shrapnel wounds and concussion. Three houses were damaged."

Details: Miedvedieva added that Russian forces also struck Kostiantynivka at 11:30, killing a 57-year-old man in his own home and damaging 11 houses.

The prosecutor’s office said Smerch multiple-launch rocket systems were used to carry out the attacks.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched under Article 438.2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
