Five-storey residential building in Kyiv partially destroyed in Russian attack, casualties reported

On the morning of 28 September, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported on the aftermath of a Russian drone attack on the capital: a five-storey residential building in the Solomianskyi district has been partially destroyed, debris fell in other districts and six people have been injured.

Quote: "A five-storey residential building in the Solomianskyi district has been partially destroyed. All services are heading to the scene."

Details: Klitschko also said that debris from Russian drones had fallen not only in the Solomianskyi but also in the Dniprovskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Darnytskyi and Holosiivskyi districts.

Update: Later, he reported that two people had been injured in the Solomianskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts. 

In the Holosiivskyi district, a house had been damaged. 

At 06:07, Klitschko reported that three people had been injured and taken to hospital.

Update: After 06:00, he said that debris had reportedly fallen in the Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi and Holosiivskyi districts.

Quote: "Cars are on fire in the Dniprovskyi district.

There are reports of debris falling in the Solomianskyi district."

Details: Klitschko also noted that two more people had been injured in the Solomianskyi district. There were five casualties in total. 

He later clarified that the number of injured had risen to six.
