Details: The company said that SkyShark kamikaze drones will be deployed in Ukraine within a few weeks. In addition, MGI Engineering is developing a heavier strike platform called TigerShark for missions where greater range and payload are critical.
According to the initiative, SkyShark is a loitering munition with a warhead weighing 10-20 kg. It has a flight range of about 250 km and a maximum speed of about 450 km/h. It uses an onboard guidance system to search for and dive on selected targets.

MGI emphasised that SkyShark will be deployed in Ukraine in about six weeks, and Ukrainian partners are already ready for production. The price of one such UAV is about US$67,000.
As for the TigerShark, it is a heavier long-range attack drone. Gascoyne stressed that it will take about two more months before the TigerShark begins test flights. The price of this UAV has not been disclosed, but it is being presented as an alternative to missiles costing up to several million pounds sterling.

Background: Earlier, it was reported that the United Kingdom and Ukraine are planning to create a drone wall to protect Europe from Russian attacks. This will be implemented as part of Project OCTOPUS.
