Russians attack Sumy with drones, hitting civilian infrastructure facility

Russian forces have attacked the Sumy hromada with drones on the morning of 7 October, targeting a civilian infrastructure facility in the Zarichnyi district of the city. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Details: Hryhorov reported damage in the residential area.

Partial power outages have also been recorded.

At present, there is no information about casualties.

Later, Sumy Oblast Military Administration added that a trolleybus had also been hit.

A passenger and the driver sought medical help and were provided with the necessary treatment at the scene.

Specialists are inspecting the area and recording the damage.

A special response headquarters has been set up to deal with the aftermath of the attack.
