Child killed, several injured in Russian drone strike on Zaporizhzhia – photos

Russian forces conducted a drone attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia on the night of 9-10 October, causing a fire that resulted in the death of a child and injuries to several people.

Details: Shortly after 01:00, Fedorov reported explosions in Zaporizhzhia Oblast amid a Russian drone attack.

Later, he confirmed that the Russians had attacked Zaporizhzhia.

He added that the strikes had caused a fire in the city.

Updated: Fedorov later said that three people had been injured in the attack, including a seven-year-old child.

One of those injured, a 45-year-old man, was taken to hospital in a critical condition.

Fedorov said the Russians had conducted at least seven strikes on Zaporizhzhia.

He reported in the morning that the boy injured in the attack had died in hospital.

The doctors fought for his life until the very end, but his injuries were too severe."
