Russians attack energy facilities in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast: fires break out, five injured

Five people have been injured and fires have broken out in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast due a large-scale Russian missile and drone strike.

Quote: "The aggressor launched a large-scale attack on the oblast using drones and missiles. Explosions were heard in Dnipro and Kamianske and in the Kryvyi Rih district. Energy infrastructure came under attack. Fires broke out and information on the aftermath is still being confirmed. A 66-year-old man has been injured and taken to hospital in a moderate condition."

The Russians also fired on the Nikopol district using artillery and Grad multiple-launch rocket systems. Nikopol and Marhanets came under attack. Inspections of the area are ongoing.

"Air Command reported that 60 drones had been downed in the oblast," Lysak said.

Updated: Later, he added that three men aged 36, 45 and 53 had been injured in the city of Kryvyi Rih as a result of the Russian attack. Two of them were taken to hospital in a moderate condition.

"A building belonging to a business in the city was damaged. A fire broke out but has already been extinguished," Lysak said.

At 10:00, he added that a 38-year-old man had been injured in the Samar district due to a Russian attack and had been taken to hospital in a moderate condition.

"In total, five people were injured in the oblast as a result of the Russian terror," Lysak summed up.
