Lukashenko checks readiness of Belarusian troops

Belarus began checking the combat readiness of its army on 11 October.

Quote: "As part of the combat readiness check, on the orders of the commander-in-chief of the armed forces – the president of the Republic of Belarus [this is how they refer to Alexander Lukashenko – ed.] – a series of measures is being carried out to bring the army to the highest level of combat readiness for the purpose of verification.
A number of units will carry out a series of measures to bring them to combat readiness, will depart for designated areas and will carry out the measures specified in the order."
Details: The inspection is being supervised by the secretariat of the Security Council of Belarus.
Background: On 12 September, joint strategic exercises of the Armed Forces of Belarus and Russia, Zapad-2025, began in Belarus. The exercises lasted until 16 September.
