Details: Reports say smoke continues to drift over the city and is visible even from the Russian-occupied city of Staryi Krym, located about 25 kilometres from the oil depot.
Readers of the Telegram channel have reported the smell of burning up to 10 kilometres away from the site.
The Feodosia oil terminal came under a fresh drone attack overnight on the night of 12-13 October, setting large sections of the facility ablaze.
Krymskyi Veter reported that the Russian occupation authorities evacuated around 830 people from the danger zone.
Background:
The terminal was hit earlier on the night of 5-6 October.
The Feodosia oil facility has been repeatedly targeted by Ukraine's defence forces. In October 2024, the site burned for about a week, and following the strike on the night of 5-6 October this year, the fire lasted for just over four days.
