Emergency power cuts have been introduced in Kyiv, Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts and in the city of Kyiv.

Details: Emergency power cuts have also been introduced in Lviv Oblast.

The Ministry of Energy noted that emergency power cuts are in effect in all oblasts of the country except Donetsk and Chernihiv oblasts.

In Chernihiv Oblast, Ukrenergo is currently implementing three rounds of hourly power cuts.

Background: On 15 October, as a result of new Russian attacks, some consumers in several oblasts were left without electricity, and consumption increased by 4%.
