"My children and I were sheltering in the bathroom": Shahed debris hit Ukrainian MP's home

Olha Stefanishyna, Member of Parliament from the Holos (Voice) party, has said that debris from a Russian Shahed drone hit her residential building in Kyiv while she and her children were inside their flat on the night of 21-22 October.

Quote: "Last night, debris from a Shahed hit our building in Rusanivka. Fortunately, it struck a non-residential part of the building, and no one was injured. My children and I were sheltering in the bathroom – it was very loud. By morning, we saw photos of the aftermath."

Details: Stefanishyna added that her children were frightened, but she herself was "not that much".

"We still have water and electricity, we don't need help, but thank you to everyone who asked how we are. You know how valuable that is," Stefanishyna concluded.
