Zelenskyy: Shaheds sometimes more dangerous than ballistic missiles

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that "in some cases" Russian Shahed drones have become more dangerous than ballistic missiles.

Quote: "Shaheds have in some cases become more dangerous now than ballistic missiles. We shoot down ballistic missiles, at least in areas where we have Patriot systems deployed.
But to shoot down such a large number of Shaheds at that altitude, we have to use everything – interceptors, F-16s, helicopters – we use everything. And a lot depends on the weather. We'll see how we can use helicopters in freezing temperatures. In rain and so on, aircraft don't see everything as clearly."
Details: Speaking about interceptor drones, Zelenskyy noted that by November, production is expected to reach 500-800 units per day.
The president also emphasised that Ukraine will respond to Russian attacks, in particular by increasing the combat use of Flamingo missiles and Ruta rocket-equipped drones.
Zelenskyy added that in 90-95% of cases, Ukraine's long-range strikes on Russian territory are carried out using domestically produced weapons.
Background: On the night of 27-28 October, Russia launched an attack using 38 drones, 26 of which were neutralised by air defence systems.
