Ukrainian air defences intercept Russian ballistic missile and 107 drones, 36 UAVs hit targets

Russia attacked Ukraine with one Iskander-M ballistic missile launched from Rostov Oblast and 145 loitering munitions on the night of 30-31 October. Ukrainian air defence units have destroyed the ballistic missile and 107 of the drones.

Details: The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russian forces had launched the drones from the following areas starting at 19:00 on Thursday 30 October: Kursk, Oryol and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia as well as Chauda and Hvardiiske in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
About 90 of the drones were Shahed loitering munitions.
Early reports indicate that as of 09:00, Ukrainian air defences had shot down or jammed one ballistic missile and 107 Shaheds, Gerberas and drones of other types in Ukraine's north, south and east.
However, 36 hits by loitering munitions were recorded at 20 locations.
