Drones spotted over military base in east of Belgium again

Unidentified drones were spotted near the Kleine-Brogel air base in the east of Belgium on the evening of 4 November, the second such incident in a week.

Details: Residents of the town of Peer, located near the base, reported seeing six drones of unknown origin flying overhead. Local police immediately arrived at the scene and were able to visually confirm the presence of drones twice.

"It's still unclear, as the Defence Ministry was unable to detect the drones. A federal police helicopter was called in to possibly track the devices," Peer Mayor Steven Matheï said.

- This is the second time in a week that Belgian authorities have received reports of drones flying over the Kleine-Brogel air base.
