Ukrainian forces destroy Shahed drone storage base in occupied Donetsk – video

Robert "Magyar" Brovdi, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of Ukraine, has reported that a storage, assembly and launch base for Shahed loitering munitions was struck in the area of the former Donetsk airport on the evening of 5 November.

Details: Brovdi reported that a joint operation to strike the base had been conducted in the area of temporarily occupied Donetsk by Ukraine's Special Operations Forces, Rocket Forces and Artillery and a reconnaissance unit from Magyar's Birds, the 414th Unmanned Systems Forces Brigade.

Quote: "The development of this complex target turned into a months-long, meticulous intelligence operation, pieced together from small scraps of information; tonight it was executed using appropriate weapons at the disposal of the Special Operations Forces and Rocket Forces and Artillery."

Background: On the evening of 5 November, explosions were reported in temporarily occupied Donetsk. Videos of a fire appeared on social media, and early reports indicated that an ammunition depot had been hit.
