Quote from Vadym Batii: "The situation in Lyman remains difficult because of active fighting. Lyman is now without gas after Russian forces destroyed an unwater feeder pipeline, and repair crews stand ready to begin work as soon as conditions allow."

Details: Batii said that gas supply in the city will be restored as soon as it is physically possible.

Donetsk Oblast Military Administration reported that from 3 to 9 November there were 62 cases of damage to gas networks across Donetsk Oblast as a result of combat operations.

Damage was recorded in the front-line hromadas of Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, Sloviansk, Mykolaivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka in the Kramatorsk district. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Background: Ukraine's Ministry of Energy developed contingency plans to provide households with reserve gas and to introduce limits on supply in case of shortages following Russian strikes on gas infrastructure.
