Russian drones strike central Kharkiv: five injured, damage reported – photos

Five civilians have been injured and a manufacturing plant and houses have been damaged after Russian forces used three Shahed loitering munitions to strike the centre of the city of Kharkiv on the morning of 12 November.

Quote from Terekhov: "Early reports indicate that a civilian manufacturing facility and houses have been damaged as a result of three Shaheds hitting the central part of the city."

Details: Terekhov clarified that the Russians attacked the city's Kholodnohirskyi district.

Syniehubov added that one person had been injured in the Russian attack.

Quote from Syniehubov: "At present, one person is known to have been injured. Emergency services have arrived at the scene of the strikes."

Updated: Syniehubov later clarified that five people had been injured, with four taken to hospital.

Two people were rescued from blocked apartments by rescue workers.

"A civilian business facility and nearby residential buildings have been damaged. Two buildings caught fire: one fire has been extinguished and the other has been contained. All relevant services are working at the scene. The aftermath is being dealt with," he added.
