Ukraine's defence forces continue their operation in Kupiansk, Kharkiv Oblast, to kill remaining Russian troops in the northern part of the city.

Quote: "As of now, the operation to kill the remaining Russian forces in the northern part of the city is ongoing. I won't say it's easy, but given that they are cut off from their main supply routes and cannot receive effective reinforcement at the moment, they are in a much worse situation now than Ukrainian defenders were even at the most difficult moment."

Details: Trehubov explains that urban combat is always challenging, not least because of the high risks of sudden changes in the situation.

According to Trehubov, the Russians' supply lines have been severed. They now rely solely on drones, which drop various supplies – food or ammunition. Attempts at resupply or efforts to drive vehicles into the northern districts are being effectively blocked by Ukrainian drones and strikes, the spokesperson added.
