Zelenskyy reveals details of France deal on 100 aircraft, air defence and missiles
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the document signed with France has given Ukraine scope to purchase military equipment from France's defence industrial and technology base.

Details: Zelenskyy listed equipment that Ukraine can acquire, including up to 100 Rafale F4 fighter jets by 2035, SAMP-T systems, radar and unmanned systems, air-to-air missiles and aerial bombs.
Quote: "Joint projects between our defence sectors will also begin this year – we will co-produce interceptor drones and work on developing critical technologies and components that can be integrated into Ukrainian drones."
More details: Zelenskyy also thanked France for steps "to strengthen our army and our country".
Background:
- Zelenskyy had announced before the visit that Ukraine and France would sign a "historic agreement" to strengthen aircraft.
- In October a similar agreement was signed with Sweden, providing for Ukraine's purchase of up to 150 Gripen fighter jets, with partial localisation of production.
