Nighttime Russian attack on Kharkiv: number injured rises to 46, including children – photos

The number of people injured in a Russian attack on the city of Kharkiv on the night of 18-19 November has risen to 46, including two girls aged 9 and 13.

Quote from Syniehubov: "The city of Kharkiv and eight settlements in Kharkiv Oblast have come under fire over the past day. A total of 46 people have been injured in Kharkiv, including two girls aged nine and thirteen."

Details: Russian forces used 19 Geran-2 (Shahed-136) drones to attack the Slobidskyi and Osnovianskyi districts of Kharkiv.

Russian troops deployed various types of weapons to strike Kharkiv Oblast: 1 guided aerial bomb, 24 Geran-2 drones, 2 FPV drones and 25 UAVs (type being confirmed).

Some civilian infrastructure facilities have been damaged or destroyed.

In Kharkiv, the strikes damaged 16 apartment buildings, 31 cars, a garage cooperative, an emergency medical substation, a supermarket, 2 trolleybuses, a non-residential building, an administrative building and a school.

A house and two cars were damaged in the village of Starovirivka in the Kupiansk district. Railway infrastructure was damaged in the city of Lozova in the Lozova district.

The transit evacuation centre in Lozova welcomed 170 people in the last 24 hours, 24 of whom remain. The centre has registered 12,736 people since it began operating.

Background: Shortly after midnight on 19 November, a Russian drone attack on Kharkiv was reported. There were strikes and casualties, and fires broke out in the city. Emergency workers initially reported that 32 people had been injured.
