Quote: "The defence forces are holding designated lines in the northern part of Pokrovsk. We also control positions south of the railway line, which are important for further liberation. The enemy is trying to cross the railway to expand the occupied area of the city, but our troops are blocking these attempts.
Enemy forces in Pokrovsk are being worn down. As a result, the Russians are having to replenish their personnel losses. Russian command has already deployed operational reserves of the Centre Group in our area of responsibility – units of Russia's 76th Air Assault Division.
To counter further enemy advances and to conduct mop-up operations in Pokrovsk, we are strengthening our grouping, including increasing the number of UAV crews."
Details: The 7th Corps notes that one of the key tasks for the city's defenders remains the complete blocking of the Russians' supply routes to Pokrovsk, including through the use of tactical and army aircraft.
Regarding Myrnohrad, it is reported that mop-up operations on the northern outskirts of the city are nearing completion. Additional resources are being deployed to detect and eliminate Russian troops whose movements have been recorded in the southern part of the city.
Small Russian groups attempted to infiltrate Hryshyne, northwest of Pokrovsk, but Ukrainian forces detected and eliminated them in time, the Air Assault Forces added.
