Drone hits Сhechnya's capital: military base building damaged – video

A military base in Grozny, the capital of Сhechnya in the Russian Federation, was attacked by a drone on 27 November.

Details: Eyewitnesses posted a photo showing smoke rising above one of the buildings.

Kavkaz.Realii geolocated the footage, confirming that one of the buildings on the territory of the military base had been damaged.

Media reports indicated that the 141st Motorised Regiment Sever (North), part of the Russian National Guard, is stationed at this base. In 2023, the head of Сhechnya decorated the unit's commanders at this location.

The Chechen authorities and Russia's Defence Ministry have not reported the drone attack.

Airports in Сhechnya, Dagestan, North Ossetia and Ingushetia suspended operations.
