Four civilians, including two children, have been injured after Russian forces attacked the city of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast on 8 December.

Details: Russian troops struck the city using an FPV drone at about 09:00 on Monday 8 December 2025. A family riding two bicycles to collect water was caught in the strike area.

A man, 42; his wife, 32; and their two children - a girl, 7, and a boy, 12 - were injured. They were diagnosed with blast injuries, shrapnel wounds and concussion.

Doctors assessed the condition of the children and their father as moderate. They have been provided with medical assistance and taken to hospital.

Kostiantynivka District Prosecutor's Office has launched a pre-trial investigation into an alleged war crime under article 438.1 of Ukraine's Criminal Code.
